SAS Accredited Sailing Courses in Cape Town
The Cape Town Sailing Academy specialises in the following internationally recognised SAS accredited courses:
- INTRODUCTION TO SAILING
(Wednesdays to Sundays).
Cost: R2000.00 pp this is approximately 4 hours and consists of theory and practical hands on training
- COMPETENT CREW DECKHAND
Full-time courses start on demand,
Part-time courses start any Saturday or Sunday.
Cost R60000.00 pp
- DAY SKIPPER
Starts on thurs or friday or saturdays with theory introduction followed by practical sailing.
Full time - on demand if there are a minimum of three students.
Part time - practical sailing starts on Saturdays or Sundays.
Cost R14000.00 for the Day Skipper Theory and Practical NB your SAS exam fees and Radio Licence are not included
- SA COASTAL SKIPPERS - is generally conducted on demand
Cost R15000.00 pp
- ONE-on-ONE sailing options are offered on demand

We are able to arrange courses to suit your time schedule so contact us to plan your next course.
Generally our sailing and theory times are as follows:

NB. There is a 50% cancellation fee should you not attend your course and you are expected to finish your sailing course within 3 months,otherwise you will be liable for additional fees.
