Go on an intimate romantic sunset cruise and have sundowners anchored off Clifton or Granger Bay near Mouille Point watching the sunset.

For those who have more time, sail to Hout Bay. Further a field lie Cape Point and Simonstown, or sail up the west coast to Dassen Island and Saldanha Bay. These are just a few of the many options open to those wanting to spend a few hours, a day or even a few days on board an ocean cruising yacht.

Whether you are a novice and have never sailed, or want to learn the art of sailing, navigation and seamanship, or just want to do something different and spend a few hours or days on the water sailing in one of the most beautiful cities and coastlines in the world, we can tailor a trip to suit your requirements and pocket. We cater for singles, couples or small groups to a max. of 8 persons.

SV Chantecler is a safe, comfortable 45 foot, ocean cruiser and conforms to the SAMSA and SA Sailing safety specifications with a valid, up to date certificate of safety.

All our trips are sailing trips and depart from the Royal Cape Yacht Club in Duncan Rd in the Harbour.
Our trips are always weather and sea permitting. The skipper has the final say on this matter and will decide on the day.
